The fifth project carried out by the Computer Engineering students was the development of a project based on industrial automation, with the aim of presenting innovative solutions to the project partners through the use of technology.

2023 - 1st Quarter

PROBLEM: The process of separating magnetic minerals is manual.

OBJECTIVE: To develop automated equipment capable of applying a constant magnetic field throughout the sample, thus separating the magnetic minerals, which will be deposited in a different container, from the non-magnetic minerals, which will remain deposited in the original container.

PUBLIC: Employees of IPT's advanced materials department.
